A great collection during the past few weeks, all from the ’90s:
These don’t turn up very often (only 100 copies pressed!) – it’s Unlabel release number four, the debut 12″ from Cove, back in 1999. Thanks to James Martin Lant.
For a very small crowd of peoples interest.. but here was the tour poster for Bivouac and Seaweed in 1994.
Then two 1996 posters from Benjamin Frost:
Mark Davyd The gig where it got so hot before the band went on it actually started dropping like rain from the ceiling. Cue some wag playing ‘Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” and a crowd sing along.
Benjamin Frost I was there – place was pretty full for Whiteout, not so much for Oasis! They had a pretty loud PA, I stood right at the front (in front of Noel), and couldn’t hear for a few days afterwards.
For me, it was the first time I’d ever seen a band without having heard any of their songs, and been blown away.
Photos from Tim Cox: Tim Cox shame about the awful quality, but it proves I was there…
